How to get a perfect wrap

1. Prep your space

Work somewhere shaded and not too cold, and take the battery lid off before using heat.

2. Clean it

Wash the bike, then wipe everything with rubbing alcohol so the wrap sticks properly.

3. Cut your pieces

Cut a piece for each part with a bit of extra around the edges.

4. Lay it on

Peel the backing, lay the wrap down lightly and adjust it until it sits right. It lifts off easily if you need another go.

5. Smooth it out

Push the air out from the middle to the edges with the squeegee.

6. Use a little heat on curves

Warm the wrap with a heat gun so it bends around tubes and corners easily.

7. Trim the edges

Cut off the extra and press every edge down firmly.

8. Heat it to lock it in

Go over the whole wrap with the heat gun so it stays put, then wait a week before washing.

FAQ

Will it fit my bike?

One 50 x 300 cm roll covers the frame of most e-motos, including Sur-Ron, Talaria, E Ride Pro and Stark, with spare left over.

How long does shipping take?

Australia: Standard 7-15 business days ($10) or Express 4-8 business days ($15). International: usually 10-25 business days.

Is it hard to install?

Not at all. Clean the frame, lay each piece on, smooth it out and use a heat gun on curves and to lock it in. Most people finish over a weekend, and our tool kit add-on has everything you need.

Can I remove it later?

Yes. The vinyl peels off cleanly, so you can change colour any time.

What if there is a problem with my order?

Email emotowrapsau@gmail.com and we will sort it out. See our Refund Policy for details.

How long does it take?

Most people do it over a weekend. Take your time on your first one, it gets much quicker with practice.

Do I need a heat gun?

Yes. A hair dryer helps on curves, but a heat gun is what locks the wrap in place so edges don't lift later. A basic one is fine.

Can I wash my bike?

Yes, after the first week. Hand wash with mild soap and a soft cloth. If you use a pressure washer, keep it on a wide spray, stay back, and don't aim at the edges.

How long will it last?

With good care and the bike stored out of the sun, it typically lasts a few years. Strong sun, crashes and pressure washing will shorten that.

Will it damage my frame?

No. Over factory paint or powder coat it actually protects the finish, and it peels off cleanly when warmed with a heat gun. Avoid wrapping over chipped or freshly painted spots.
